For Patient Organizations

Free, plain-language research updates you can share with your community

MedicalUpdates.ai follows newly published research and clinical trial registrations across multiple rare diseases and produces patient-friendly updates each month. If you work with a patient organization, here are a few ways to use this material with your community:

Receive a monthly research update

When a new monthly report is published for a disease your organization covers, I can send it to you by email. Each report summarizes recent research in plain language and links to the original studies. You can share it in newsletters, member groups, social media, or other community channels. There is no charge.

Use MedicalUpdates.ai as a resource

Each disease page includes monthly research updates, a yearly overview of important developments, and patient-friendly clinical trial pages that link directly to the original ClinicalTrials.gov record. You are welcome to link to any of these from your organization's website or resource materials.

If you share or reproduce any of it, please credit MedicalUpdates.ai and link back to the page you used. Reports are corrected when errors are found, so a link means your community always reaches the current version rather than a copy that has since been updated.

Help improve the information

Patient organizations usually know better than anyone which questions matter most to their communities. I would be grateful for feedback on terminology, topics that need more attention, corrections, missing diseases, or ways the reports could be made more useful.

How the content is produced

  • Summaries are generated with AI and checked against the source material with additional automated verification steps. Mistakes may still occur, so every page links its sources and has a feedback form.
  • Original studies and registry records are always linked, so readers can check the sources themselves.
  • MedicalUpdates.ai has no pharmaceutical affiliation, carries no advertising, and does not accept payment for featuring studies.
